SUMMARY
PhoneArena is a long-running digital publisher in the mobila technology sphere. Over the past year, the company underwent its first rebranding in its 20-year history, as well as the biggest redesign of its website.
My involvement with the project spanned from Brand Identity Design, to Product Design, to UX & UI and Website Design.
The project necessitated a lot of cross-functional teamwork in translating PhoneArena’s new brand strategy into a cohesive product — both visual- and function-wise.
This case study is currently in the process of being converted into a web page. In the meantime, you can view the original Figma project and check out the summary below! :)
Style Guide

In order to comply with the new brand strategy of PhoneArena, I created a style guide, on which the Figma component library was based later on. The underlying core concepts of the new brand strategy and the revamped brand values were taken into consideration when designing the Style Guide and everything that followed.
After countless discussions with stakeholders, I decided to stick with blue as the main brand color. The CEO and Marketing team wanted to maintain some sort of reference to the origins of the company — a thread that connects the past, present, and future of PhoneArena — so it was decided that blue would be kept as the primary color.
That said, the new shade of blue — called 'PhoneArena blue' — is more saturated and vibrant than the old shade of blue, so as to be recognizable and convey the feeling of authority that the brand needs.
